01.About Me

Hello! My name is Gideon and I enjoy creating things that live on the internet. My interest in web development started back in 2012 where out of curiosity I decided to take a private class in WordPress — turns out the many trial and errors on building a free BlogPage really brought out something I wanted to spend my time on Software Development!

Fast-forward to today, after a number of self-taught courses and following many other courses online, I've had the privilege of working with ASUS Tech, and currently @Wiersma-ict in NL. The goal is to start up my own company some day and have some permanent clients I develop softwares/Applications for.

02. Experience

Since fully beginning my journey as a freelance software developer about 3 years ago, it has been a lot of self taught programs (e.g. Havard CS50x) with one goal in mind - becoming a FullStack Software Developer!

I value simple but well thought-through web content structure, which indeed has clean design patterns, and also interractive for the users.

I have worked as an Application support Analyst with ASUS Tech for almost 2-years, studied all the systems developed and suggested improvements to these systems. Based on request by our Global users, I helped to clarify and come up with Design and Specification for the developers to implement. here, I have gunnered a lot of experiences of what users expect with thier request for systems they make use of everyday.
